We are looking for an Expert Engineer to join our Infra Core Cloud & Datacenter team at MC Digital, and we believe we’ll be #betterwithyou!

We count on you to...

• Data Center Management: Administer, optimize, and maintain computing infrastructure (servers), networking, and storage systems distributed across our two main Data Centers.
• Virtualization: Operate and optimize virtualized environments based on VMware and KVM, ensuring high availability, performance, and efficient resource allocation.
• Data Protection & Business Continuity: Define, implement, and manage Data Protection strategies and tools (Backup & Recovery, Disaster Recovery) across both On-Premises and Cloud environments.
• Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate operational tasks, resource provisioning, and configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
• Cloud Governance: Apply governance, compliance, and security policies across the organization's Cloud ecosystem.
• Incident Resolution & Monitoring: Provide advanced-level support (L3), ensuring rapid incident resolution and proactive monitoring of the health and performance of all core systems.

What you should bring with you...

• Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years in similar roles managing critical technology infrastructures.
• Virtualization: Advanced and solid knowledge of VMware ecosystems and KVM environments.
• Traditional Infrastructure: Practical expertise in server architectures (Bare-Metal), IP networking (VLANs, Routing, Firewalls, SD-WAN), and SAN/NAS storage solutions (Block/File Storage).
• Automation & Scripting: Strong knowledge of tools such as Terraform and Ansible, together with scripting skills in Python or Shell/Bash.
• Data Protection: Hands-on experience managing enterprise Backup/DR solutions (Rubrik, Veeam) in Hybrid and Cloud environments.
• Cloud & Governance: Good knowledge of Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure), with a focus on governance policy implementation, landing zones, and security.
• Skills in Artificial Intelligence.
• Availability to work in a DevOps model, including participation in an on-call rotation.

• Relevant technical certifications (Networking, Virtualization, Public Cloud, and others).
• Previous experience in projects involving both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Experience working with DevOps methodologies.
