SOHI is the result of a joint venture between MC and Hilton Foods. Operating in Santarém since 2002, it supplies fresh pre-packed meat products. With a team of more than 650 employees, we ensure daily deliveries to our stores. We are looking for a Production Manager to join our SOHI team in Santarém, and we believe we will be #betterwithyou.

Role Responsibilities

  • Organize and supervise all activities carried out by the Production team under your responsibility;
  • Promote and ensure the adoption of occupational health and safety, food safety, and environmental standards and procedures;
  • Ensure compliance with KPIs related to safety, quality, efficiency, service level, waste, and costs;
  • Foster and ensure effective collaboration with other factory departments;
  • Manage, train, and motivate the team;
  • Participate in operational projects, contributing to the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

 

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Food Sciences, or a related field (preferred), or relevant professional experience for the role;
  • Experience in operational team management;
  • Fluency in English (preferred);
  • Strong sense of responsibility;
  • Good teamwork and leadership skills;
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment;
  • Availability to work rotating shifts, including schedules up to 1:00 a.m.
