We are looking for a DRY GOODS OPERATOR to join our SOHI team in Santarém, and we believe we’ll be #betterwithyou.
SOHI is a joint venture between MC and Hilton Foods. Operating in Santarém since 2002, SOHI supplies fresh pre-packed meat products to our stores. With a team of more than 650 colleagues, we ensure daily deliveries while remaining committed to safety, wellbeing, quality, sustainability, and continuous improvement. We process high-quality beef, pork, and lamb into a range of pre-packed products.
What you'll do
- Receive consumables and seasonings.
- Prepare, weigh, and replenish seasonings in accordance with all procedures.
- Prepare and replenish consumables according to operational requirements.
- Ensure full traceability of ingredients and consumables.
- Weigh and record raw materials containing sulphites and E120, in line with food safety requirements.
Please note: This role is carried out in a chilled environment, so you should be comfortable working in temperature-controlled conditions.
What you'll bring
- Minimum compulsory education – Basic education is essential.
- Manufacturing experience – Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is valued but not essential.
- Responsible attitude – We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, and understands the importance of attendance.
- Working hours – Availability to work from 4:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
- Immediate availability – We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
- Results-driven mindset – A strong focus on achieving objectives and a high level of responsibility.
- Teamwork – The ability to work collaboratively and support colleagues whenever needed.
