We are looking for a QUALITY CONTROL ASSISTANT to join our SOHI team in Santarém, and we believe we’ll be #betterwithyou.

SOHI is the result of a joint venture between MC and Hilton Foods. Operating in Santarém since 2002, it supplies pre-packaged fresh meats. With a team of over 650 employees, we ensure daily deliveries to our stores. Committed to safety, well-being, quality, sustainability, and continuous improvement, SOHI processes high-quality beef, pork, and lamb in pre-packaged formats.

Your day-to-day will involve:
Raw Material and Finished Product Reception Control: Perform tasks related to receiving and other activities that assist in the reception of raw materials and finished products, ensuring that products are received in a safe and efficient manner.
Quality Control: Verify the specifications of received products, conduct quality tests when necessary, and ensure that only products meeting established quality standards are accepted at the facility.
Compliance with Food Safety Standards: Apply internal practices that contribute to a safe and healthy work environment.
Non-Conformance Analysis: Identify non-conformities and apply internal procedures, always in compliance with food safety standards.

Note: The work will be conducted in a refrigerated environment, so you should be prepared to work under controlled temperature conditions.

Minimum Education Requirement: A high school diploma (12th grade) is an essential requirement.
Experience in a Manufacturing Environment: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is valued, although it is not mandatory.
Responsible Conduct: We are looking for someone with a responsible, punctual, and reliable attitude who understands the importance of consistency in work.
Availability: You must be available to work from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday to Saturday, including weekends.
Immediate Availability: We are looking for someone who can start immediately.
Goal-Oriented: You should have a strong focus on results and a high sense of responsibility, committed to achieving the team’s goals.
Teamwork Skills: Collaboration is key; therefore, it is important to have the ability to work in a team and assist colleagues whenever necessary.
