We are looking for a Data Scientist for our AI Engineering team and we believe we will be #betterwithyou!

We're counting on you to...

• Create decision support tools based on prescriptive models and using mathematical programming concepts, meta-heuristics or matheuristics;
• Develop insights and other analytical outputs that support MC's business decisions, based on in-depth knowledge of customer behavior and the efficiency of processes and operations;
• Critically analyze business processes, identifying decision points that need analytical support and abstracting them through mathematical modeling techniques; 
• Produce AI solutions and fit them into decision-making processes, making them robust and scalable.

So bring with you...

• Academic background in Statistics, Mathematics or Operations Research;
• At least 3 years' experience in Data Science, Operations Research or Operations Management;
• Experience in developing prescriptive tools that support business decisions; 
• Experience with commercial solvers such as Gurobi or Cplex is valued;
• Ability to structure projects, applying good development and collaboration practices, mastery of Python and contact with distributed computing technologies (Hadoop, Spark);
• Proven experience in handling large volumes of data (ETL) and advanced statistical techniques;
• Ability to abstract business problems through mathematical modeling;
• Ability to prototype interfaces that deliver actionable recommendations (plus);
• Proven experience in producing predictive pipelines and automating the entire lifecycle of ML models using current MLOps paradigms (plus);
• Knowledge of English;
• Autonomy in decision-making;
• Good communication skills;
