We are looking for a Database Platform Engineer to join our Architecture, Platform Engineering & Infrastructure team, and we believe we will be #betterwithyou.
You will be responsible for…
• Designing, implementing, and operating database services as products (with SLOs, automation, and user experience focus);
• Building CI/CD pipelines for schema management, provisioning, and configuration control;
• Ensuring capacity planning, as well as backup and recovery strategies (RTO/RPO), and high availability and disaster recovery architectures;
• Collaborating with development teams on logical and physical database design (schemas, tables, indexes, and views);
• Monitoring and optimizing performance through query analysis and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus);
• Troubleshooting production incidents, performing root cause analysis, and implementing continuous improvements;
• Participating in on-call rotations and ensuring data platform reliability and availability.
What you bring…
• Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent;
• +3 years of experience in database engineering or similar roles (Platform/SRE);
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB (on-prem and cloud);
• Knowledge of HA/DR, backup, and recovery;
• Strong Linux knowledge;
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible;
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud environments (GCP or Azure);
• Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions);
• Knowledge/experience with enterprise databases (Oracle or SQL Server);
• Treat operational problems as product problems — automating what has already been solved once;
• Clear communication with both developers and business stakeholders;
• Proactivity, autonomy, and ability to work in environments where ambiguity is part of the process;
• Fluency in English;
• Availability to work in a DevOps model, including on-call rotation;
• Skills in Artificial Intelligence.
