We are looking for an R&D Senior Project Manager to join the R&D Incentives and Innovation team in Matosinhos, and we believe we’ll be #betterwithyou!

 

Your mission will be to design, structure and secure co-funded innovation projects, both national and European, aligning external trends, funding opportunities and the company’s internal strategic priorities. You will also ensure the proper governance of R&D tax incentives (namely SIFIDE), guaranteeing rigour, consistency and maximum impact.

  • Identify, structure and submit applications to national and European programmes;
  • Interpret eligibility criteria and specific requirements;
  • Build ambitious yet feasible proposals;
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple areas of the organisation;
  • Translate between technical, financial and strategic languages;
  • Align expectations and unblock critical topics;
  • Select and engage academic, technological and institutional partners;
  • Represent the company in innovation ecosystems and networks;
  • Build medium- to long-term relationships;
  • Monitor trends and funding agendas;
  • Anticipate opportunities and formulate use cases;
  • Connect internal strategy, innovation and funding;
  • Ensure the integrated management of the annual SIFIDE process for a set of internal companies, guaranteeing quality, rigour and strategic alignment.

  • Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn about co-funded projects, national and European programmes, and R&D tax incentives (such as SIFIDE);
  • Ability to structure coherent technical and strategic narratives;
