We are looking for a R&D Project Manager to join our R&D and Innovation team, in Matosinhos , and we believe we’ll be #betterwithyou!
 

We count on you to…

• Acting as the liaison between internal MC teams and external partners (universities, research centers, start-ups, and other companies) within the scope of sustainability, process innovation and circular economy projects;

• Ensuring the timely execution of R&D projects according to established timelines and budgets, focusing on achieving predefined goals and generating value for the company;

• Monitoring and reporting on the work being developed;

• Communicating with and aligning various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of technologies and solutions developed in partnership, in a continuous process of collaborative innovation;

• Overseeing the implementation of demonstrators/pilots at our facilities/operations/infrastructure, in close coordination with the involved internal teams and external project partners.

So, bring with you...

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Management or Economics areas;

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar role;

• Valued experience and/or certification in R&D project management within the scope of funded projects;

• Good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word;

• Availability for short-term travel within Portugal and Europe;

• Teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders;

• Clear and goal-oriented communication;

• Critical thinking, curiosity, and a focus on continuous improvement;

• Adaptability, planning, and organizational skills;

• Motivation to build and implement new solutions collaboratively in the context of innovation project management;

• Interest in disruptive new technologies – the role directly involves digital innovation and emerging tech;

• Fluency in English – for communication with international partners;

• The ability to think conceptually and analytically in a structured way;

• Intellectual curiosity and team spirit;

• Resilience and agility to discuss and communicate across the mentioned areas.
