We are looking for a PROJECT FINANCIAL MANAGER to join our R&D & Innovation team within the Operations Development & Innovation Directorate, based in Matosinhos, and we believe we’ll be #betterwithyou.
This team is responsible for promoting and managing Research, Development and Innovation projects with impact across SONAE businesses, leveraging skills, technologies, and innovation-oriented funding, including tax incentives.

- Implementing, driving, and monitoring the financial management of national and European R&D and Innovation funding programs;
- Developing financial control procedures for projects;
- Assessing the financial viability of projects;
- Monitoring and controlling the financial execution of projects;
- Coordinating the submission of reimbursement claims for co-funded projects;
- Communicating with consultants, partners, and funding entities;
- Ensuring compliance and external and internal reporting procedures;
- Developing analysis and reporting procedures for the team’s activities;
- Monitoring the budget execution of the team.

- Higher education degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or Finance;
- Experience in management control and project financial management;
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written);
- Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
