We are looking for an Operational Control and Compliance Manager for our Service Management team, in Matosinhos, and we believe we are #betterwithyou!
With us, you will manage operational processes related to food safety across all our stores. This role is essential to ensure compliance with procedures, coordinate teams in operational contingency management, and promote continuous process improvement, contributing to risk reduction and strengthened compliance.

Monitoring and ensuring compliance of operational processes;

Coordinating teams in responding to operational contingencies;

Implementing process improvements with a focus on food safety;

Promoting best practices and internal training through awareness initiatives in food safety and quality control;

Conducting audits and following up on action plans;

Collaborating with technical and operational areas to ensure process effectiveness and efficiency.

A higher education degree in food sciences or engineering (e.g., Food Engineering, Veterinary Medicine, Microbiology, Agronomy, Animal Science, or Nutrition);

Strong knowledge of HACCP and food risk management;
-
Professional experience in the food industry, fresh food retail, catering, quality control, audits, certification, or inspection (preferred);
-
Knowledge of pest management (a plus);
-
Critical and analytical thinking;
-
Objectivity and impartiality regarding processes, documentation, and areas;
-
Enjoyment in working with the public and being dynamic;
-
Driving licence and availability to travel nationally (mandatory).
