We are looking for a Junior Buyer for our Bazaar Division, and we believe we will be #betterwithyou!
We count on you to...
- Support the control of the company's competitive price levels;
- Characterize and study competitors' movements;
- Critically analyze developed scientific models, with a special focus on elasticity analyses;
- Manage the impact of price changes in stores;
- Participate in discussions on product visibility levels and the definition of store clusters and their respective competitors;
- Present improvement proposals;
- Prepare and analyze studies related to the Price variable;
- Interact with other functional areas of the company;
- Identify and select suppliers that offer products aligned with the category strategy;
- Negotiate conditions and define an attractive promotional plan that provides customers with an excellent value proposition;
- Ensure the financial performance of your area;
- Analyze and monitor market/sector trends, ensuring efficient access to a product range that meets consumer needs.

- Higher education in Management, Economics, or similar fields – This academic background is essential to ensure you understand the context and economic implications of purchasing decisions;
- Planning skills and results-oriented mindset – A results-oriented approach is key to achieving the company's goals regarding cost, quality, and timing, while planning ensures proper forecasting and prevents stock shortages or excesses;
- Negotiation skills and analytical capability – Negotiation enables you to secure the best conditions from suppliers, while analytical skills complement this by allowing you to compare proposals, analyze market data, assess performance indicators, and make informed decisions;
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability to various stakeholders – Adaptability is crucial to adjusting to different styles and requirements, while problem-solving skills help manage unforeseen challenges throughout the purchasing process;
- Strategic thinking – This skill allows you to align your decisions with the company’s long-term objectives;
- Proficiency in English – In a globalized market, you will interact with international suppliers, and fluency in English will enable you to perform your role more effectively;
