We are looking for a Health & Safety Technician to join our Ergonomics & Safety Centre of Excellence, in Matosinhos , and we believe we’ll be #betterwithyou!
 

Your mission:
Support operations in identifying improvement opportunities, developing sustainable solutions, and promoting a culture of well-being, efficiency, and workplace safety.

We count on you to…

• Assess ergonomic and safety risks in operations, with a focus on retail/logistics environments;

• Take part in the design and improvement of workstations and processes, based on physical, cognitive, and organizational ergonomics principles;

• Develop and follow up on improvement plans, in coordination with operational and technical teams;

• Support the definition and monitoring of ergonomic and safety performance KPIs;

• Promote best practices, training, and awareness within teams, encouraging safe and proactive behaviors;

• Monitor the implementation of new technologies impacting ergonomics and safety;

• Participate in innovation, digitalization, and continuous improvement projects focused on human factors.

So, bring with you...

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Health, Ergonomics, Engineering (Safety, Industrial, etc.), or equivalent Health & Safety certification;

• Hands-on experience in operational environments (experience in retail and/or logistics is a plus);

• Knowledge of tools such as RULA, REBA, NIOSH, among others;

• Solid background in ergonomics and risk assessment;

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills;

• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies;

• Comfort with digital tools (Office 365, Excel, etc.);

• Availability for travel.
