We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Projects & Continuous Improvement team in the Process Engineering area in Matosinhos, and we believe we’ll be #betterwithyou!
The mission of the Projects & Continuous Improvement team is to design and implement the plan of continuous improvement initiatives and to operationalize the Continuous Improvement system, according to defined standards and aligned with the company’s strategy, supporting and promoting business efficiency. The Process Engineering area supports store operations by promoting an analytical, data-driven approach aligned with productivity, quality, and innovation criteria in the development of operational solutions.

Collaborating with the Time & Methods Center of Competence through process mapping tools, process optimization, and determination of operation times;

Developing ways of working and addressing challenges in store operations;

Helping us bring "engineering" into store processes by participating in the development of innovative operational solutions;

Leading and/or participating in Continuous Improvement initiatives;
-
Supporting the quantification and impact assessment of initiatives and projects to build a value proposition increasingly focused on results;
-
Contributing to the evolution of the Continuous Improvement system through the development of Principles, Methods, and Tools;
-
Keeping up with market best practices by participating in specialized forums and visiting other market players to ensure the implementation of best-in-class practices.

A Bachelor's or Integrated Master's degree in Engineering or Management – a strong foundation in process analysis, project management, and resource optimization strategies is relevant for the continuous improvement area;

At least 2 years of professional experience in similar areas or roles – practical knowledge in implementing continuous improvement methodologies, enhancing processes, and proposing solutions is essential for success;

Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Kaizen; Lean Management), Agile, and Design Thinking – enabling a comprehensive approach to delivering successful continuous improvement initiatives;

Experience in coordinating project teams – essential to mobilize and motivate project participants, facilitate communication, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment of responsibilities;

Passion for working in multidisciplinary teams and being hands-on in the field, with a practical and solution-oriented mindset;

Strong training and team support skills – so that teams understand and adopt new methodologies and processes;

Fluency in spoken and written English – for understanding and producing documents/materials, as well as facilitating communication with stakeholders from different countries.
