We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Projects & Continuous Improvement team in the IOW area in Matosinhos or Carnaxide, and we believe we’ll be #betterwithyou!
The PMO – Continuous Improvement team’s mission is to design and implement the plan of continuous improvement initiatives and the operationalization of the Continuous Improvement system, in accordance with defined standards and aligned with the company’s strategy, to sustain and promote business efficiency.

Lead and/or participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives structured by clear hypotheses, success criteria, and follow-up metrics;

Design and carry out pilots and experiments, ensuring evidence-based decision-making;

Support the quantification and impact assessment of the benefits of initiatives and projects, in order to materialize an increasingly results-oriented value proposition;
-
Train business teams in Continuous Improvement methods and tools, fostering experimentation and rapid learning in daily work;
-
Contribute to the evolution of the Continuous Improvement System through the development of Principles, Methods, and Tools, integrating lessons learned;
-
Monitor and stay up to date with market best practices by participating in specialized forums and visiting other market players, ensuring the implementation of the best practices.

A Bachelor's or Integrated Master's degree in Engineering or Management;
-
At least 2 years of professional experience in similar areas or roles;
-
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Kaizen; Lean Management), Agile, and Design Thinking;
-
Growth mindset, oriented towards testing, experimentation, and rapid learning, actively contributing to a fail-fast culture;
-
Ability to challenge the status quo and propose disruptive and innovative solutions;
-
Experience in coordinating project teams;
-
Passion for working in multidisciplinary teams and being hands-on in the field, with a practical and solution-oriented mindset;
-
Strong training and team support skills;
-
Fluency in spoken and written English;
- Availability to travel.
