We are looking for an Innovation Specialist to join our IT Labs team, and we believe we will be #betterwithyou!
 
We count on you to…

  • Search new technological solutions or concepts (at events, communities, accelerators, incubators, reports, desk research...) that add value to internal processes or the customer experience;
  • Contribute to additional initiatives such as the experimentation lab, hackathon, blog/podcast or other projects;
  • Support initiatives from the technological experimentation funnel - Examples: shelf monitoring with computer vision or smart shopping carts;
  • Manage Proofs of Concept and Pilots, across all stages - from idea to execution, and conclusions - including, among others, managing the initiative, validations with legal and security teams, budgeting, alignment with stakeholders and analysis of results;
  • Encourage and actively participate in the exchange of knowledge with relevant entities (technology partners, non-competing retailers, etc.);
  • Maintain a close link with the startup ecosystem, academia and the technological world;
  • Promote a culture of experimentation and innovation throughout the organization.

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree, combined with experience navigating the technological universe - it is essential to understand new technologies, how they work and how they can generate value for our processes or clients;
  • Knowledge about innovation methodologies (Design Thinking, Prototyping, Lean Startup, Customer Development, etc.) - we value a fail-fast approach and minimum viable product: learning the most with the least effort;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - communication and empathy are key to performing this role;
  • Agility and comfort with uncertain environments - our plans and priorities change frequently. This isn't disorganization, it's adapting to reality;
  • Proactive, hands-on attitude - we don't rely on theory, we move forward and test;
  • Natural curiosity for new technologies and a constant interest in learning - what we know today is out of date tomorrow;
  • “AI First” mentality - familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools, always trying to explore ways of enhancing our work with AI.
