We are looking for a Health & Safety Technician for our Occupational Health and Safety team in Maia, and we believe we will be #betterwithyou!

Reporting to the Area Coordinator, this person will be responsible for ensuring the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Health and Safety Management System in the logistics warehouses, guaranteeing accident prevention, legal compliance, and the promotion of a strong safety culture.

 

We count on you to…

 

  • Coordinate, implement, and monitor the prevention plan and the H&S management system of the logistics center;
  • Develop occupational risk assessment processes;
  • Monitor the implementation of corrective measures and prevention/protection activities against health and safety risks at work;
  • Coordinate H&S training and awareness programs, ensuring a continuous and operations-aligned approach;
  • Conduct hygiene and safety audits across different business units;
  • Prepare Self-Protection Measures and monitor the implementation of existing ones;
  • Follow up and investigate work accidents and incidents, proposing effective corrective and preventive actions;
  • Assess and manage risks associated with industrial equipment;
  • Collaborate in identifying and implementing legal requirements related to workplace hygiene and safety;
  • Ensure the organization of all documentation necessary for prevention management within the company;
  • Lead safety culture initiatives, maintaining a strong on-site presence.

 

Bring with you…

 

  • Higher education – Essential to ensure solid theoretical and practical knowledge;
  • Health and Safety Technician Certification (level VI) – Required to perform specific health and safety duties;
  • Previous experience in logistics and/or industrial environments;
  • Experience in accident investigation, root cause analysis, and action plan management;
  • Proficiency in IT tools at user level – Fundamental for managing safety documentation and reports;
  • Strong analytical skills, organization, and results orientation – Essential to identify risks and implement effective solutions;
  • Dynamism, proactivity, and intellectual curiosity – Important to anticipate issues and promote continuous improvement;
  • High sense of ethics and professional integrity – Necessary to ensure legal and moral compliance in safety practices;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team – Crucial for effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders;
  • Knowledge of ergonomics (preferably).
