We are looking for an Expert Tech Lead to join our Labs & AI Transformation team at MC Digital, and we believe we’ll be #betterwithyou!

We are counting on you to…

• Explore, design, and implement AI agents and solutions applied to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with a focus on increasing software development efficiency and quality.

• Rethink and challenge current engineering processes, contributing to the evolution of an AI-driven model, from software conception through delivery and maintenance.

• Support engineering teams in adopting AI-powered coding tools, promoting their integration throughout the SDLC.

• Define and implement best practices, technical standards, and security requirements for the use of AI in software development.

• Contribute to the design of technical architectures that integrate AI into the software development lifecycle, ensuring robustness, governance, and compliance.

• Work with frameworks, SDKs, and low-code/no-code platforms, assessing their impact and value within software development.

• Act as a senior technical reference, supporting your own and other teams in technical decision-making and resolving complex AI-related challenges.

• Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment between platforms, processes, and technology objectives.

• Actively contribute to the development and evolution of AI agents focused on software engineering, improving productivity, code quality, and security.

What you should bring with you…

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in production software development, with a track record in large-scale, highly available systems.

• Full-stack experience with backend technologies (e.g., .NET, Node.js) and frontend technologies (e.g., React, TypeScript), with adaptability across different technology stacks.

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with an end-to-end perspective covering discovery, requirements, architecture, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.

• DevOps mindset and continuous integration experience, including building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), Infrastructure as Code practices, and automation of build, test, and release processes.

• Strong affinity for Artificial Intelligence, including active engagement with the AI/ML ecosystem applied to software development and hands-on experience using coding agents such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools to improve productivity and quality.

• Technical leadership skills, including guiding engineering teams, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior and senior professionals, and actively participating in architecture and technology decisions.

• Experience defining and promoting engineering best practices, including coding standards, design patterns, testing processes (unit, integration, and end-to-end), and technical documentation.

• Ability to translate business requirements into pragmatic technical solutions, actively contributing to backlog definition and effort estimation from a sound technical perspective.

• Effective communication skills with non-technical stakeholders, product managers, and designers, acting as a bridge between product vision and technical execution.

• Continuous growth mindset, keeping up with emerging technology trends, particularly in AI and developer tooling, and contributing to the evolution of engineering processes and culture.

• Availability to work in a DevOps model, including participation in an on-call rotation.
