We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data, AI & Analytics COE team, based in Maia, and we believe we’ll be #betterwithyou!

We count on you to…

• Work closely with analytics teams to identify data goals and needs;

• Create pipelines that empower analytics teams with better data models to meet their challenges;

• Analyze and organize large-scale raw data;

• Design, build, test, and maintain ETL flows that ensure the necessary processing layers for usefulness;

• Develop software components and custom analytical applications;

• Implement monitoring processes to ensure data quality and reliability in production;

• Organize, document, and manage all information related to data and processes;

• Ensure pipelines comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Bring with you…

• A background in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics;

• Proven experience in data engineering;

• Technical knowledge of data models and storage techniques;

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, PySpark, Scala, or Java;

• Ability to optimize and enhance query execution plans to improve performance and leverage technology platforms;

• Experience with collaboration and version control tools (e.g., GitHub);

• Experience working with hybrid cloud environments (Azure, GCP, or similar).
