We are looking for a Cloud & Infrastructure Architect to join our MC Digital team, and we believe we will be #betterwithyou!
 
We count on you to…

• Define, maintain and execute a comprehensive strategy for the evolution roadmap of the IT infrastructure architecture (on-premises, hybrid and multi-cloud), which supports the current and future objectives of MC's information systems and business, ensuring, in addition to efficiency, high standards of reliability, scalability and security;
• Designing technological architecture solutions for IT infrastructure services (computing, storage, networks and telecommunications, databases, associated tools and others) to meet the needs of the business as well as creating conditions for proofs of concept in laboratory environments or in a real context;
• Defining the evolution of the basic capabilities for the infrastructure architecture in line with a platform vision and collaborating with the other areas of application architecture and security in defining the capabilities and sizing of the infrastructure to be included in the design of solutions in order to meet the needs of the organization;
• Working closely with technology partners to support the design, response to requirements, validation of capabilities that meet business needs and TCO analysis to formulate the appropriate architecture;
• Ensuring a smooth transition from the architecture phase to delivery in order to follow the principles defined in the design for the correct adoption of the technology and monitoring the implementation;
• Establishing guidelines, documentation and best practices for infrastructure deployment and management; 
• Participating in research into new technologies, incorporating innovation into architecture initiatives.
   

So, bring with you…

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Engineering or similar - provides the theoretical and practical foundations needed to understand complex IT systems;
• More than 8 years' experience in defining IT infrastructure architecture - this experience should enable you to create architectures that meet specific business needs, ensuring reliability, scalability and efficiency;
• Develop solution architecture and evaluate architecture alternatives for private, public and hybrid Cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS and other Cloud services - the ability to develop and evaluate different architecture alternatives is key to ensuring that solutions are efficient and appropriate;
• Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of modern technologies for application delivery and DevOps processes (e.g. Kubernetes, Containers, Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible) - Familiarity with these technologies and practices is crucial to being able to modernize deployment processes and IT operations;
• Define design standards and optimal solutions for high availability and disaster recovery for applications in a hybrid and multi-cloud context - essential to ensure that the solutions designed are resilient and secure. This is key to minimizing the impact of failures and ensuring business continuity.
• Ability to present the solutions defined - be able to present and defend “technology with purpose”, adjusting the speech and language according to the audience in order to better tailor the message to the target audience;
• Willingness to learn - keeping up to date with the latest technological trends and emerging technologies is crucial in order to continually feed the architecture evolution strategy appropriately and in line with business needs so that it remains competitive and up to date.
