We are looking for a Cloud & Infrastructure Architect to join our MC Digital team, and we believe we will be #betterwithyou!
We count on you to…
- Define, maintain, and execute a comprehensive strategy for the IT infrastructure architecture evolution roadmap (on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud), supporting current and future Information Systems and MC business goals, ensuring efficiency, high reliability, scalability, and security;
- Design technology architecture solutions for IT infrastructure services (compute, storage, networking and telecommunications, databases, associated tools, and others) to meet business needs and create conditions for proof of concepts in lab or real environments;
- Define the evolution of core capabilities for infrastructure architecture in alignment with a platform vision and collaborate with application architecture and security teams in defining capabilities and infrastructure sizing to include in solution designs responding to organizational needs;
- Work closely with technology partners to support solution design, meet requirements, validate capabilities aligned with business needs, and perform TCO analysis to define the appropriate architecture;
- Ensure a smooth transition from architecture phase to delivery, following design principles for correct technology adoption and supporting implementation;
- Establish guidelines, documentation, and best practices for infrastructure deployment and management;
- Participate in researching new technologies, incorporating innovation into architecture initiatives.
Therefore, bring with you…
- A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or similar – providing the theoretical and practical foundations to understand complex IT systems;
- More than 8 years of experience defining IT infrastructure architectures – enabling the creation of architectures that meet specific business needs, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency;
- Experience developing solution architectures and evaluating alternatives for private, public, and hybrid cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud services;
- Strong understanding of modern technologies for application delivery and DevOps processes (e.g., Kubernetes, Containers, Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible);
- Ability to define design standards and optimal solutions for high availability and disaster recovery in hybrid and multi-cloud environments;
- Ability to present defined solutions – defend “technology with purpose” by adapting communication to different audiences;
- Willingness to learn – staying up to date with the latest and emerging technologies to continuously evolve architecture strategy aligned with business needs;
- Skills in Artificial Intelligence;
- Availability to work in a DevOps model, including on-call support.
