We’re looking for a C# Expert Tech Lead, with solid experience in microservices development and distributed systems integration, to join our MC Digital team in Maia or Carnaxide — because we believe we’ll be #betterwithyou!

 

We count on you to…

 

• Develop and maintain microservices in .NET 8 / ASP.NET Core, following MC Digital’s best engineering practices.
• Design and expose high-performance, secure, and scalable RESTful APIs.
• Implement messaging solutions based on Kafka or Solace, ensuring resilience, idempotency, and event ordering.
• Apply concurrency and parallelism patterns using Task Parallel Library (TPL) to optimize efficiency and performance.
• Develop automated tests (unit, integration, and contract), ensuring continuous quality and proper coverage.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), ensuring efficient modeling and good data access practices.
• Contribute to the evolution of shared libraries (chassis framework), ensuring consistent logging, telemetry, security, and configuration.
• Participate in code reviews, standards definition, and continuous improvement of the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Architecture teams to ensure robust and observable deliveries.

 

Bring with you…

 

• Proven experience in C# / .NET (6 or higher).
• Hands-on experience with microservices, REST APIs, and messaging (Kafka, Solace, RabbitMQ, or similar).
• Knowledge of TPL (Task Parallel Library) and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with containers (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Familiarity with logging, observability, and tracing (OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Strong fundamentals in design patterns, SOLID, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience with shared frameworks (chassis frameworks / internal SDKs) is valued.

 

We also value…

 

• Knowledge of Kubernetes (AKS, OpenShift, or GKE).
• Experience migrating C# applications to Kubernetes, including containerization, Helm chart configuration, and observability practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms.
