We are looking for a AI Engineer to join the AI Innovation team, within our AI HUB of the Data, AI & Analytics team at MC Digital, and we believe we’ll be #betterwithyou!

We count on you to…

Explore and develop innovative Artificial Intelligence concepts, with a strong focus on Generative AI (GenAI);
Research emerging technologies by analyzing technical documentation, literature, and trends to identify relevant solutions;
Contribute to the ideation, design, and validation of functional prototypes for AI-based solutions;
Apply AI to the development process itself, exploring new approaches and tools;
Collaborate in defining best practices, technical standards, and producing structured documentation;
Work closely with software engineering and development profiles;
Support innovation initiatives from the conceptual phase through proof of value;
Stay up to date with the most innovative trends in AI and related technologies;
Ability to suggest and make decisions regarding the technical approach and architecture of the systems to be developed;
Act as a mentor to other team members;
Ability to influence the team’s roadmap with innovative and relevant concepts for the organization.

Therefore, you bring with you…

Academic background in Computer Engineering, Data Science, AI Systems Engineering, or similar fields;
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a corporate environment (preferred);
Experience or strong interest in Generative AI (GenAI);
Technological background, preferably in Data Science, Software Engineering, AI Systems Engineering, or Fullstack Development with an interest in AI;
Familiarity with Data/AI tech stacks, namely Machine Learning libraries, Python, and backend frameworks;
Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence applied to innovation and solution development;
Research skills, critical thinking, and ability to structure ideas;
Attention to quality, documentation, and best practices;
Good command of English.
