We are looking for a Stock Analyst to join our Continente Modelo Madeira team, and we believe we’ll be #betterwithyou!
We count on you to…
• Ensure the procurement of a range of products, guaranteeing efficient stock management;
• Analyze management indicators on a daily basis and make decisions accordingly;
• Coordinate with the various stakeholders in the supply chain (commercial team, suppliers, logistics, stores);
• Plan and ensure the procurement of promotional activity;
• Manage the regular supply of stores.
So, bring with you…
• Academic background in Management, Applied Mathematics/Statistics, or Engineering – to ensure a solid foundation in quantitative reasoning and analytical structure;
• Previous experience in stock management, planning, procurement, or data analysis – to understand logistics flows and anticipate operational needs;
• Familiarity with the food retail sector (hypermarkets, supermarkets, etc.) – to adapt decisions to the pace, complexity, and specific characteristics of this sector;
• Proficiency in Excel – to handle and analyze large volumes of data independently and efficiently;
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills – to interpret trends, predict behaviors, and act based on data;
• Dynamism and communication skills – to interact effectively with various stakeholders and respond to changing contexts;
• Critical thinking and decision-making skills – to evaluate alternatives and propose well-founded solutions;
• Priority management – to perform effectively in dynamic environments with defined deadlines;
• Proficiency in English.
