We are hiring a VETERINARIAN & STORE MANAGER to join our team at ZU in AMADORA, and we believe we’ll be #betterwithyou.

  • Perform Clinical-Surgical Veterinary Activities – Carry out veterinary clinical and surgical procedures, ensuring animal health and well-being.
  • Technical Store Management – Ensure compliance with technical standards and regulations related to veterinary medicine services.
  • Coordinate and Manage Veterinary Products Sales (VUM and VUP) – Oversee the sales and display of Veterinary Use Medications (VUM) and Veterinary Use Products (VUP), ensuring customers' needs are met.
  • Team Training and Development – Support continuous team development, offering technical training on veterinary practices and products. Motivate and guide the team, fostering a culture of learning, specialization, and excellence in service. Set clear objectives and provide regular feedback to enhance team performance and ensure alignment with company standards.
  • Support the Growth of the ZU Business – Utilize technical knowledge to analyze store performance, identify areas for improvement, and explore opportunities for service and product expansion, maximizing results.
  • Coordinate Store Operations – Ensure service quality and customer satisfaction, contributing to brand performance.

 

Bring with you

  • Degree (Pre-Bologna) / Master’s in Veterinary Medicine – Essential for carrying out medical-surgical responsibilities and assuming the role of technical manager.
  • Management and Leadership Skills – Experience in team coordination and management, with the ability to motivate, guide, and lead in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate should also have strong strategic decision-making skills to optimize operations.
  • Goal-Oriented Focus – Skills to set and achieve objectives, with determination to improve store performance and meet growth targets.
  • Teamwork Skills – A strong sense of responsibility and professional ethics, with the ability to collaborate in a team environment and take responsibility for all tasks.
