We are looking for a Quality Control Technician, to join our Sensory Analysis team, in Amadora, and we believe we will be #betterwithyou!
We count on you to…
- Conducting sensory tests (includes sample collection from different stores, preparation/cooking of samples);
- Physical-chemical analyses of food products;
- Preparation of reports including statistical data analysis.
So, bring with you…
- Higher academic education in the field of food sciences or equivalents – Higher education in these areas provides knowledge of the essential principles for conducting analyses and sensory tests, as well as understanding the applicable norms and regulations for food safety;
- Knowledge of Excel and user-level computer tools – Proficiency in computer tools, such as Excel, is necessary for data management and presentation of results, ensuring accuracy in assessments
- Some experience in the food sector – Experience in the field brings familiarity with quality control practices, food handling, and compliance with safety regulations, while also contributing to the efficient execution of sensory tests and analyses;
- Driver's license – Necessary for traveling to different stores to collect samples;
- Critical thinking and decision-making – Essential for evaluating analysis results, making judgments about the quality of food products, and proactively addressing issues when food safety is at risk;
- Enjoyment of public contact and dynamism – Important for effectively interacting with colleagues, suppliers, and testers, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
