We are looking for a Business Analyst – Geographic Information System (GIS) to join our Client's team, and we believe we will be #betterwithyou!

 

We count on you to…

  • Ensure the collection and processing of relevant information on the market and competition to support accurate market assessments and identify potential new business opportunities;
  • Carry out projects with GIS support;
  • Prepare reports that systematize and integrate all information;
  • Maintain up-to-date market and competition databases;
  • Design, develop, and update information dashboards using GIS technology.

 

So, Bring with you…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Regional Planning, Geographic Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Management, or related fields – skills in spatial analysis, cartography, and GIS concepts are essential for working with geospatial data, along with competencies in data analysis, modeling, and statistical interpretation.

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in GIS-related roles – familiarity with accurately interpreting geographic data, performing complex analyses, and solving specific issues is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel – for data manipulation and organization.
  • Knowledge of GIS applications – experience with tools like ArcGIS Pro and ArcMap is essential for processing, analyzing, and visualizing geospatial data.
  • Knowledge of Python – for task automation, complex data analysis, and script development that optimizes work with spatial data.
  • Proficiency in English – many resources, manuals, tutorials, and technical documentation in GIS are available only in English.
  • Availability for frequent travel and a valid driver’s license – may be required for data collection in various locations.
  • Analytical skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail – attention to small discrepancies and identifying inconsistencies are crucial to maintain the accuracy of analyses and subsequent decisions.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills – to convey complex information in an understandable way and to produce reports and presentations that effectively support decision-making.
