We are a company by everyone, for everyone. With a solid and inclusive foundation, MC is people-focused, working to make life simpler for customers, employees, and community members alike. We create value with contributions from all, innovating at every step, and leading closely, mindful of each person’s unique qualities and needs. Though we each have different backgrounds and ideas, we share the desire to grow and to reach the best version of ourselves. Everything we are, we accomplish together—and nothing is more inspiring than that.

We are seeking an Assistant Section Manager to join our Logistics team and believe we’ll be #betterwithyou.

Every day, our Logistics team supplies Portugal. Our warehouse teams receive products from suppliers and organize shipments bound for stores across the country—a process that is swift, safe, and uses advanced technology. We have distribution centers in Azambuja, Vila Nova da Rainha, Maia, Guia, and Madeira.

Support for Operational Coordination: You’ll work closely with leadership to ensure the team’s operations run smoothly and effectively, supporting the execution of strategic directions.
Control of Logistics Operations: You’ll monitor operators in the field, ensuring everyone follows established standards and procedures. Your role will be essential to maintain quality and efficiency.
Equipment Maintenance and Continuous Improvement: You’ll be responsible for maintaining the equipment used by the team. Additionally, you’ll participate in daily Kaizen actions, focusing on continuous improvement in operational processes.
Team Support and Motivation: You’ll guide employees through hands-on training, answering questions and motivating them to give their best. Your support will be essential in promoting a positive, productive work environment.

Bring with you…
Education: Minimum required education level. While academic training is valued, practical experience and a willingness to learn are equally important.
Empathy: You’ll be working with a new team, and your ability to understand and connect with colleagues will be essential to building trust.
Digital Skills: Technology will be an important part of your job. A willingness to learn and grow your digital skills will contribute to operational efficiency.
Adaptability and Continuous Learning: We’re looking for someone willing to take on new challenges, with a mindset focused on continuous learning, ready to adapt in a dynamic environment.

Comfort in Positive Cold Environments: This work takes place in positive cold environments, so it’s important that you’re comfortable in these conditions.
