We are looking for Sourcing Business Analyst to join the Strategic Sourcing team, in Carnaxide and we believe that we will be #betterwithyou!

We are the driving force behind the negotiation of critical goods and services for MC’s operations – Marketing, IT, Transport, Equipment, Consumables, Technical Services, among others – with a portfolio worth almost 1 billion euros. We coordinate the end-to-end negotiation process with MC’s key partners: identifying innovative market solutions, promoting competitive processes, and closing strategic agreements that create value for the company.

We count on you to…

• Provide analyses and recommendations to support sourcing activities, category management, and supplier relationship management;
• Identify market trends, risks, and opportunities for savings or supplier consolidation;
• Perform financial modeling, including scenario analysis and assessment of the financial impact of sourcing decisions;
• Collect, organize, and process indirect procurement data from various sources (ERP systems, supplier databases, contracts, market platforms);
• Ensure the integrity and consistency of information to support decision-making.

So, bring with you…

• Relevant experience in data analysis roles supporting C-Level strategic decision-making, with a focus on cost analysis, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and benchmarking (preferably in procurement, commercial, and/or retail areas);
• Ability to produce executive-level decision-support documents, focusing on market analysis, raw material cost trends, and scenario modeling for sourcing strategies (advanced PowerPoint skills required);
• Advanced knowledge of Excel (including Power Query, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas) and Power BI or other data visualization tools (knowledge of VBA will be valued);
• Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and a problem-solving mindset;
• Good understanding of procurement processes, especially indirect purchasing (preferred);
• Strong organizational and planning skills;
• Fluency in English.
