To join our  Group Planning & Control Team at the Holding Office, we are currently looking for a:

Planning & Control Manager

Core Responsibilities:

• Support the Group strategic planning and control cycle, namely understanding and evaluating individual businesses’ strategic and financial plans, identifying the main contributions and key implications for Sonae;
• Perform the regular analysis of the portfolio of businesses, monitoring trends, promoting strategic thinking and ensuring a close interaction with the business teams to follow on business performance and strategy execution;
• Analyse and systematise information from different sources, preparing regular reports to inform Sonae’s ExCom and Board of Directors and support the decision making, including the development of specific analyses and recommendations.

Requirements:

• Degree in Management or Economics;
• Minimum 6 years of experience within Planning and Control, Corporate Finance, Management Consulting or Audit functions;
• Strong knowledge of MS Office tools, particularly Excel (advanced level) and PowerPoint;
• Fluency in English (mandatory); knowledge of other languages will be valued;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Intellectual curiosity, creativity and proactivity;
• Ease of communication and interpersonal relationship skills.

Work location:

Porto. Hybrid mode (following the company policy: 3 days at the office).
