Partnerships Specialist
We’re looking for someone full of initiative and purpose to help scale our reskilling programs by building a strong ecosystem around them. This person will be the face of the initiative to companies and foundations — identifying who can support us, crafting the strategy to approach them, and following through on every conversation with care and persistence. It’s a hands-on role, perfect for someone who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves, manage lots of moving parts, and talk to all kinds of stakeholders. They need to be sharp, well-organized, and genuinely motivated by projects that create positive impact in people’s lives.
Purpose of the Role:
Support the growth and sustainability of our reskilling initiatives by building and managing a strong ecosystem of companies, foundations, and partners. This role is key to securing job opportunities, internships, and financial support for our pro bono programs. The Partnerships Specialist will design and implement outreach strategies, manage multiple stakeholder relationships, and represent the initiative in meetings and presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential partner companies to:
- Offer job or internship opportunities to reskilled individuals
- Pay for access to the platform’s services
- Map and approach foundations and other potential sponsors to support program financing
- Create and implement a structured outreach strategy for both companies and funders
- Develop tailored proposals and presentations to different stakeholders
- Represent the initiative in meetings, calls, and events
- Manage a pipeline of contacts, follow-ups, and reporting (CRM or equivalent tracking system)
- Collaborate with the reskilling program team to ensure alignment between opportunities and talent supply
- Monitor trends in employability, impact funding, and corporate social responsibility to inform strategy
Ideal Profile:
- 2–4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, fundraising, or stakeholder management
- Strong interest in social impact, education, reskilling, or ESG-related projects
- Excellent communication skills — oral and written — including confidence in delivering presentations and building proposals
- Highly organized, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple conversations at once
- Fluent in Portuguese and English
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and engaging with diverse types of organizations
Work location:
Porto. Hybrid mode (following the company policy: 3 days at the office).
