We are looking for a Regulatory Compliance Advisory to support regulatory compliance oversight, reporting, and governance across the organization. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and Ensure Compliance

  • Continuously monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Identify and address compliance gaps and deviations before they become critical
  • Ensure the institution remains aligned with applicable legal and regulatory obligations

 

Communicate and Promote Alignment

  • Communicate regulatory requirements to internal stakeholders and business areas
  • Provide clarification and guidance on compliance-related matters
  • Promote a strong compliance culture across the organization

 

Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare accurate and timely regulatory reports
  • Maintain complete, organized, and auditable records
  • Provide evidence of compliance to auditors and regulatory authorities

 

Analyse and Improve Processes

  • Identify gaps and improvement opportunities within compliance processes
  • Recommend and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to governance and compliance innovation projects

 

Complaints Management Oversight

  • Monitor the complaints management process, with particular focus on regulatory complaint handling and response processes
  • Ensure responses to Regulators meet required quality and compliance standards
  • Identify patterns and root causes within complaints received and drive corrective actions to address them
  • Identify training needs among stakeholders involved in the complaints management process

 

If you have

  • A bachelor’s degree in Law
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Portuguese
  • A continuous learning mindset
  • Attention to detail, rigour, and discipline
