We are looking for an Analyst to be part of the Mergers & Acquisitions team at Sonae with the following profile:

M&A Analyst

Sonae is looking for an Analyst to join its Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team. In this role, you will support the identification, evaluation, and execution of investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, contributing to the Group’s sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct financial and strategic analyses of investment opportunities;

• Develop financial models and perform company valuations;

• Support due diligence processes and transaction execution;

• Prepare presentations and materials to support decision-making;

• Monitor markets, industries, and potential acquisition targets.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field;

• Previous experience in M&A, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, or Strategy Consulting;

• Strong analytical skills and solid financial modelling expertise;

• A critical mindset, strong autonomy, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment;

• Fluency in Portuguese and English.

Work Location

Hybrid mode (following the company policy: 3 days at the office).

The role will be developed in Oporto or Lisbon.
